Charles Norris is a woodblock print maker, photographer, architect and waterfront planner who lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Popham Beach, Maine. His interests in photography and watercolor painting began in design school, and have explored the built and natural environment experienced in his work and travels. In recent years he has created woodblock prints that are inspired by his photographic compositions, and reflect on waterfront, marine and botanical subjects.

The woodcuts are all printed at the Abrazos Studio at Miller Street. His photography and woodcuts have been exhibited at the Danforth Museum in Framingham at the Off the Wall/Community of Artists shows (2010-2016), and at the Small Works shows at the Maud Morgan Arts Center in Cambridge (2012 – 2016). His woodcut prints have been exhibited at the Boston Printmakers Biennial (2015), at the the Lunder Gallery at Lesley (2015), at AD 20/21in Boston (2015-2016), at a two person show with his partner Diane at Half Crown Design in Cambridge (2013), at the “Friends of Bob” group show at Gallery Naga (2014) in Boston, and at “Waterfront Impressions”, a solo show at the Paul Dietrich Gallery at C7A in Cambridge (2014).
